June - New Moon
Solstice new moon
Wednesday June 25 at 3:30 a.m. PDT will be a very purifying and intense New Moon. Itwill take place in the constellation Gemini (sidereal astrology) near the star Betelgeuse, called Ardra in Vedic astrology, ruled by Rudra, god of storms and tempests, literally and figuratively!
This star brings purification, transformation and the elimination of what is old and useless in order to bring about renewal. It´s a turbulent and destabilizing star. We know that the atmosphere is always lighter and fresher after a storm, which has taken on the task of evacuating heaviness and stagnation!
One of the symbols of this nakshatra is a diamond which, in order to shine, has to be subjected to intense heat and pressure, just like our soul, which has to go through trials and storms in order to remove the layers of dirt that prevent it from shining fully.
Exceptionally during this New Moon, Jupiter, the Guru, the Great benefic, will be perfectly aligned with the Sun and Moon, bringing a kind of divine grace, a transformation that will take place with joy and optimism, as if carried on a providential
wave!
The Sun-Moon-Jupiter trio will be in square to Saturn and Neptune, who are also perfectly conjoined and will retrograde together until December! Their conjunction will last until May 2026, which is exceptionally long. We´re in for some very unusual times, and the heavens confirm it! These two planets are very contrasting, one being very realistic and concrete, the other very idealistic and mystical. We may find ourselves torn between our ideals and reality, but this conjunction also invites us to turn our dreams into reality!
Mercury will also spend an exceptionally long time in Cancer (until September), as it goes retrograde in July. This may give us mood swings, but a greater connection to our intuition.
For most of July, Venus in Taurus is favorable to the arts, pleasure, contact with nature, sensuality and gardening.
